My artistic approach is based on the conscious design of visual worlds that go beyond the mere capturing of moments. Early on, I developed an understanding of the distinction between documentary photography and staged images. This conceptual approach, which marks the transition from “taking pictures” to “making pictures”, continues to shape my photographic work to this day.

My visual language is clear, graphic and often reduced. People and objects are integral components of a carefully composed overall structure that aims for visual harmony. This methodical, creative approach is evident in both my photographic work and my moving image projects. I am strongly inspired by cinematic compositions, although the focus is less on the narrative level and more on the formal image design.

By using CGI, artificial intelligence or AI and other digital techniques, I expand the possibilities of photography and create visual scenarios that would be difficult to realize in reality. This allows me, as a photographer, not only to depict external reality, but also to create new visual worlds. In this sense, I increasingly see my role as a photographer as that of a visual director.
