My artistic approach is based on the conscious design of visual worlds that go beyond the mere capturing of moments. Early on, I developed an understanding of the distinction between documentary photography and staged images. This conceptual approach, which marks the transition from “taking pictures” to “making pictures”, continues to shape my photographic work to this day.
